Apigenin is a flavonoid, a type of plant pigment, found in chamomile, parsley, celery and many other herbs and vegetables. Chamomile tea is one of the most familiar dietary sources.

Researchers are studying apigenin for its biological activity, including how it may interact with enzymes involved in NAD+ metabolism. Much of this work is early-stage and comes from laboratory research.

Nature’s Youth includes 25 mg of apigenin per capsule as part of a six-ingredient formula. Including it does not establish that the combination produces specific clinical outcomes.
